State Auto names head of acquisition integration


COLUMBUS, Ohio – November 15, 2006
– The State Auto Insurance Companies today named Lester Brue, currently Resident Vice President and Branch Manager of the companies’ Des Moines (Iowa) Branch Office, as Director of Acquisition Integration.

Brue has nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, the last 14 of which have been at State Auto where he has served as a field sales representative, territory manager, and most recently, branch manager. In his new role, he will guide the integration of future acquisitions, which remain a critical piece of State Auto’s corporate strategy.

“Lester brings valuable expertise and leadership capabilities to the role of assuring that any future acquisitions are integrated efficiently and effectively,” said Vice President/Director of Branch-Regional Operations Steve Hazelbaker. “His varied experience makes him perfectly suited for this important role.”
